David
M. Karas, D.D.S.
Dr. David M. Karas was born in the Chicago area
and has resided here his entire life. He received his undergraduate
and dental degrees from Loyola University and has been practicing
in the Oak Brook and Elmhurst areas since 1987. His practice
has focused on implant dentistry from the beginning and he
has received extensive postgraduate training, including a
one-year training course sponsored by the American Academy
of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Karas has been deeply involved in the evolution of implant
dentistry as a consultant to an implant manufacturer and teaching
hundreds of dentists in the United States and abroad on how
to practice the surgical and restorative techniques of implant
dentistry.
Dr. Karas is proud of his commitment to restore and maintain
optimum dental health for his patients by listening to patients
concerns, offering through education and developing recommendations
that meet and exceed their goals and expectations.
Dr. Karas enjoys his two dogs, traveling and spending time
at his Arizona desert retreat.

Christopher
R. Pottorff, D.M.D.
Dr. Christopher R. Pottorff has
been a resident of the Chicago area for 35 years. He completed
his undergraduate education at Benedictine University and
then went on to receive his dental degree from Southern Illinois
School of Dental Medicine.
Following graduation, he completed a one-year externship at
the Medical College of Georgia for surgical and prosthetic
implant training.Dr. Pottorff’s continued
pursuit of excellence has resulted in him receiving the distinction
of being an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant
Dentistry. Dr. Pottorff is also a member of the American Academy
of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Pottorff is committed to providing the highest quality
in cosmetic and family dental care. He takes pride in making
his patients feel good about themselves and their teeth by
creating a beautiful smile for them and improving their self-image
with cosmetics. Dr. Pottorff believes that beautiful teeth
are the key to a beautiful smile and that a beautiful smile
is directly related to one’s happiness and health.
Dr. Pottorff enjoys spending time with his family and friends,
being outdoors, and skiing.
